Quilting Ministry
Join the quilting ministry, an enduring symbol of compassion and comfort at Forest Hills. For generations, these dedicated women have created prayer quilts for the ailing, pillowcases for those undergoing long-term treatments, and backpacks for children affected by natural disasters. Their tireless efforts embody the desire to provide tangible solace amidst the invisible reality of suffering. Join our quilting group, meeting every Wednesday morning at 8:00 am, and contribute to this extraordinary ministry.
Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women welcomes you into a vibrant community of over 200,000 women across the nation, gathered around a shared purpose. Embrace the transformative power of prayer and Bible study, as we nurture our faith and support the mission of the church worldwide. Together, we strive for justice and peace, weaving an inclusive and caring sisterhood that strengthens the PCUSA while witnessing the promise of God’s Kingdom. Join our Forest Hills PW group on the second Saturday of each month at 9:30 am, and experience the joy of fellowship and empowerment.
Recovery Ministry
At Forest Hills, we believe in the liberating freedom granted by God, enabling us to overcome the chains of addiction that can entangle our lives. Join us in our proud commitment to recovery by participating in our weekly AA group meetings every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday at 7:00 pm. Let us journey together towards healing and embrace the divine grace that leads us to newfound strength and renewal.
