Worship

Worship is at the heart of who we are as a church.

At Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, worship is at the heart of our community. Every Sunday at 10:30 AM, we gather for an uplifting hour of prayer, song, scripture, and a meaningful sermon. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or have been with us for years, our welcoming environment will help you feel at home. Come as you are—dressed casually or in your Sunday best—and bring the whole family! Kids are encouraged to participate and share in the joy.

Our diverse music program adds a special touch to each service, blending traditional hymns with contemporary praise, making it a spiritually rich experience for everyone. If you’re unable to attend in person, no worries—you can worship with us online!

We look forward to meeting you and sharing this special time together. Need help finding your way? Our friendly members are here to guide you from the parking lot to the sanctuary, or wherever you need to go.

Where Should I go?

Forest Hills Presbyterian Church is located in Helotes, Texas at 13200 Bandera Rd. When you arrive, simply head to the left toward the main parking lot. Our friendly members will be happy to show you around, whether you’re looking for the sanctuary, a Sunday School classroom, or even the restroom!

What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable! Whether you prefer jeans and a t-shirt or your Sunday best, you’ll fit right in. We promise not to be formal or judgmental.

What about my kids?

We love kids at FHPC, and they are always welcome in worship! Let them squirm, sing, and wiggle to their hearts’ content. During the service, children are invited up front for their own special time. You get to decide what works best for your family

Are the buildings accessible?

Yes, we are fully accessible! There are handicapped parking spots and ramps available to make sure everyone can get where they need to go. Just ask if you need assistance.

What is the music like?

We celebrate God through a rich mix of music, blending traditional hymns with contemporary praise songs. Our music director and praise band bring their unique gifts to every service, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

What are the sermons like?

Each week, our sermons are thoughtfully designed to last between 10 and 20 minutes, offering a meaningful and relatable connection between the day’s scripture readings and the challenges and opportunities we face in our world today. We strive to provide messages that inspire, uplift, and encourage reflection, helping you find guidance and hope in the timeless wisdom of the Bible, no matter what you may be experiencing in life.

Will I be called out for being a visitor?

Don’t worry, you won’t be singled out. We may greet you warmly during the passing of the peace, but we won’t put you on the spot. If you’d like to know more about our church family, feel free to ask anyone—we’d love to chat with you!

Can I worship online?
